The Director of Finance role for Off The Cuff requires that an individual be responsible, trustworthy, organized, and a good communicator. This role is two-fold : there is an administrative side, where you work with SAO for reimbursement and money management, and on the other hand, there is a fundraising side of the position, where you plan events/fundraisers to raise money for the organization.

With that said, you must understand:

  • How to make and manage a budget
  • How SAO transactions work (or be a quick learner)
  • SAO requirements (or do appropriate research to understand requirements)

This role does not require large amounts of time, but it does require diligence with payments and deadlines, especially in the closing weeks of the semester. It is a role where you get out of it what you put into it.
